The Challenge

To find a way for siblings to communicate with their hospitalized siblings during infection control period when they are not allowed to physically visit.

Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center

Our Solution

Born In an effort to find a way for siblings to communicate with their hospitalized siblings during infection control period, we worked with Center staff and developed a first of its kind  project in which young people selected subjects about which they wished to share with their siblings while they couldn’t see each other in person. Each week images would be “sent” via Center staff and the residents would send images back. The project culminated in a photo shoot and final gallery show when the siblings were reunited and the work was displayed  – showing the “conversation” that it allowed to happen.
